Sons, Daughters, and Children of the Republic of Texas

Any male that can demonstrate and document (birth certificates, marriage certificates, death certificates, etc.) direct biological lineage to Doctor James Fisher Martin is eligible to apply to become a member of the Sons of the Republic of Texas (SRT). Dr. Martin tended to the wounded from the Battle of San Jacinto and owned land in Texas when Texas was still its own country. You would be equally eligible under Jacob Eberly, Julia Ann Eberly Martin's father, who was a Captain in General Sam Houston's Army, fought at the Battle of Gonzales, and secured the safety of Texans during the Runaway Scrape.

A male can apply at any age. 

You may also be a member of the Children of the Republic of Texas (CRT) at the same time, until you become an adult.

Dr. Martin tended to the wounded from the Battle of San Jacinto and owned land in Texas when Texas was still its own country. You would be equally eligible under Jacob Eberly, Julia Ann Eberly Martin's father, who was a Captain in General Sam Houston's Army, fought at the Battle of Gonzales, and secured the safety of Texans during the Runaway Scrape.

A female has to wait until they are 16 years old to apply to DRT. 

You may become a member of CRT before you are 16, and remain a CRT member until you become an adult.

You may remain a CRT member until you become an adult. The CRT is also ran by the DRT.
